Cairo — Libya’s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, General Khaled Haftar, has paid an official visit to Egypt at the invitation of his counterpart, Egyptian Chief of Staff General Ahmed Fathi Khalifa.
During the visit, Haftar took part in the International Defence Exhibition (EDEX 2025), one of the region’s leading platforms for defence and military industries. The event drew high‑level delegations from more than 100 countries, represented by senior military leaders.
