The Libyan economic delegation concluded its visit to the Republic of Serbia, which took place from December 9 to 12, 2025, with a meeting hosted by Ambassador Mohammed Ben Ghalbon at the Libyan Embassy in Belgrade.
During the concluding meeting, the outcomes of the various sessions and encounters held between the Libyan and Serbian sides were reviewed. Discussions focused on exploring the prospects for economic and commercial cooperation between Libya and Serbia, with a particular emphasis on opening new avenues to enhance partnerships.
Ambassador Ben Ghalbon honoured the Head of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences, members of the Libyan General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, and the Advisor to the Minister of Economy. This recognition was offered in appreciation of their efforts dedicated to advancing economic relations between the two countries.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of economic policy as the “essential key” to developing bilateral relations. He called for continued joint and serious efforts aimed at broadening the scope of cooperation between Libya and Serbia.
