The Libyan Youth Dialogue Forum affirms that establishing an inclusive dialogue is the most peaceful and effective option to overcome political divisions and build a broad consensus in the interest of Libya and its citizens that leads to a comprehensive political settlement, free and fair elections, and the restoration of the state’s unity and effectiveness.
The Forum clarified that it does not support any dialogue track without guarantees of public trust. It rejected incitement and accusations of treason, affirming instead a constructive monitoring approach based on facts and objective evaluation.
Furthermore, it stressed that the role of the international community should be limited to technical support and facilitation, without interfering in shaping national choices or imposing external paths.
The Forum called on all political and social actors to engage in dialogue with a spirit of national responsibility, avoid polarization, and prioritize the interests of citizens. Dialogue, it insisted, must serve as a means to end the transitional period, not as a tool to manage or prolong the crisis.
