General Khairy al-Tamimi, Secretary-General of the General Command and Chairman of the Libyan-Jordanian Joint Military Cooperation Committee, attended a tactical live-fire exercise performed by Libyan cadets and officers in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Accompanied by a high-level military delegation, al-Tamimi observed the field maneuvers conducted at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center as part of ongoing efforts to bolster military readiness and expertise.
The exercise took place in the rugged, mountainous desert terrain of the Al-Humaymah area, approximately 300 kilometers from Amman. The drills featured intensive special forces scenarios, including building assaults carried out under planned suppressive fire and strict adherence to tactical engagement rules. Al-Tamimi praised the participants for their high level of discipline and professionalism, noting that the exercise successfully met its training objectives according to the established military standards.
