General Saddam Haftar, Libya’s Deputy Commander-in-Chief, has conducted an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to strengthen military coordination and strategic ties between the two nations. Upon his arrival at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Haftar was received with full military honours by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, alongside senior Jordanian military and security officials.
The talks focused on expanding the scope of bilateral cooperation, with a particular emphasis on training programmes, capability building, and the exchange of tactical expertise. The visit is seen as part of a broader effort to formalise institutional links between the two military commands..
