The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Saddam Haftar, has arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt following an official invitation from General Abdel Majeed Saqr, the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production. He was welcomed with formal military honors by General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, in the presence of senior military chiefs from both the Libyan and Egyptian ranks.

During the visit, General Saddam Haftar held talks with General Abdel Majeed Saqr to discuss the expansion of bilateral military cooperation, particularly focusing on training initiatives and the exchange of professional expertise. General Saddam Haftar conveyed the greetings of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He further lauded Egypt’s pivotal regional and Arab influence, highlighting the profound historical ties and the distinguished strategic relationship shared by the two neighboring nations.
