The Minister of Sports, Abdul Shafi Al-Juwaifi, took part in the 72nd session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers for Youth and Sports, held at the Arab League headquarters. Chaired by Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, and attended by Assistant Secretary-General Hussein Al-Hindawi, the meeting focused on ratifying recommendations from the Arab Fund for Youth and Sports Activities. The executive body also reviewed the technical secretariat’s progress reports and the strategic proposals submitted by the specialized youth and sports subcommittees.

Key discussions centered on a suite of modern initiatives aimed at empowering Arab youth, including training programs in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The meeting also explored the launch of the inaugural Arab Electronic Games Championship and the Arab Youth Excellence Award, as well as a simulation model for the Arab Youth Parliament. These collective efforts, supported by proposals from various member states, aim to foster a synchronized regional approach to youth development and sports innovation, aligning Arab youth activities with global technological trends.
