Nadia Omran, a member of the Constituent Assembly for the Drafting of the Constitution, has characterized the ongoing “structured dialogue” as a redundant continuation of the United Nations’ unsuccessful previous initiatives. Speaking to Almanassa, Omran argued that the fundamental issues plaguing Libya are far more profound than the solutions offered by UN-led discussions. She further criticized the process for its lack of clear criteria regarding the selection of participants and its ambiguous objectives, dismissing the effort as a futile exercise that squanders precious time while the country faces escalating challenges.
