Amadou Mohamed Ousmane, the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger to Libya, conducted an official visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s consular office in Sabha this morning.
This visit is part of preparatory meetings led by the Ambassador to establish new Nigerien consulates in Benghazi and Sabha, intended to deepen bilateral relations and broaden cooperation in consular, diplomatic, and service sectors. The Ambassador was accompanied by Suleiman Masoud, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office, and Bassem Al-Swei, Director of the General Protocol Department.

Furthermore, discussions aimed at enhancing support for the Nigerien community residing in Sabha, ensuring their consular transactions are streamlined, their rights are protected, and services are rendered within established legal frameworks. The visit focused on streamlining consular procedures to improve service delivery for citizens of both nations and strengthening administrative coordination between relevant authorities.
