Technical Challenges and Preparations
The Libyan team enters the tournament facing the challenge of late preparations, which the coaching staff seeks to overcome to deliver a performance worthy of Libyan football. The Libyan Football Federation recently strengthened the technical staff by hiring Egyptian coach Badr El-Din Hamed to take charge of the youth teams.
Team Roster and System
The technical staff has selected a roster of 27 players carefully picked from various regional federations. Four teams are participating in the tournament, which continues until February 8th: Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria.
