Libya U-17 to Face Algeria in North African Championship Opener

Libya’s U-17 national football team is set to begin its campaign in the North African Championship with an opening match against Algeria on March 24th in Benghazi. The tournament, hosted by Libya, will run from March 24 to April 5, featuring five national teams: Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. Matches are scheduled to take place across three key venues in the host city, namely the Benghazi International Stadium, Martyrs of Benina Stadium, and the Military Union Stadium.

Under the guidance of Egyptian head coach Badr al-Din Hamed, the national team is currently undergoing an intensive external training camp in Tunisia to prepare for the competition.
