Handling crews at Al-Khums Seaport are preparing to receive three commercial vessels carrying vital grain supplies and strategic goods. According to official data released by the port management this Thursday, operational efforts are focused on unloading significant shipments aimed at bolstering food reserves and meeting local market demand for vehicles.
Prioritized in the port’s upcoming operations is the vessel “Gatti,” expected to arrive with 27,100 tons of bulk wheat. Additionally, the ship “Aya” is nearing arrival, carrying 25,100 tons of bulk corn. These shipments, totaling over 52,000 tons, underscore the critical role of Al-Khums Port in securing supply chains for essential grains and commodities.
The vessel “Napoli” is projected to dock before the end of this month, carrying 190 various vehicles. Port management confirmed the readiness of all berths and handling equipment to expedite unloading processes upon the ships’ arrival, ensuring the smooth flow of maritime trade and the delivery of high-quality services to shipping agents.
