Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, conducted a visit to the headquarters of the General Directorate of Central Support in Benghazi, where he was received by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Fara Qaim, and the Director of the General Directorate of Central Support, Major General Khaled Masoud. General Haftar oversaw a general assembly of the directorate’s officers and personnel to review their readiness and discipline, while also checking on the status of members, including the unit that underwent advanced anti-riot training in the Republic of Belarus. The visit concluded with the inauguration of the Central Support Directorate’s headquarters and its complete facilities, a move reflecting the General Command’s commitment to supporting security agencies and enhancing their operational efficiency in addressing various security challenges.
