Al-Ahly Benghazi has improved its standing in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) qualifiers, securing third place in the Kalahari Conference following the fourth round of matches. This advancement was aided by Petro de Luanda’s 100-75 victory over Dar City. The current group standings place Rwanda’s Tigers at the top, followed by Petro de Luanda, with Al-Ahly Benghazi in third, while Dar City, Nairobi Thunder, and Johannesburg Giants occupy the lower half of the table.

The team’s third-round clash against Dar City set a new milestone with a combined total of 215 points, where Al-Ahly Benghazi dominated with a 118-97 finish. During this record-breaking game, player Dimon achieved a personal best by providing 18 scoring contributions, while Majok Deng’s standout performance was instrumental in securing the win.
