Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, met with French President Emmanuel Macron during an official visit to Paris.
The meeting took place at the Élysée Palace, where the two sides discussed developments in the political process in Libya, the importance of supporting the efforts of the United Nations mission to achieve stability and reviewed relevant regional updates.
The two parties also explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation that serves the mutual interests of both countries.
For his part, the French President emphasized the pivotal role played by Marshal Haftar in the Libyan political process, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the Armed Forces in maintaining security and stability in the country.
