Engineer Belgassem Haftar, the Director-General of the Libya Fund for Development and Reconstruction, has met with Jean-Noël Barrot, the French Minister of State for European and Foreign Affairs, and Paul Soler, the French Special Envoy to Libya, at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris.
The meeting addressed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Libya and France in various areas of mutual interest. The discussions focused on how this collaboration can contribute to supporting reconstruction and development efforts in Libya, as well as expanding the horizons of the economic partnership between the two nations.
Furthermore, the two sides discussed the importance of creating a conducive environment to bolster the presence of French companies in the Libyan market. This increased involvement is seen as a vital factor in accelerating reconstruction, developing infrastructure, and improving essential services.
This meeting is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at attracting international investments and broadening cooperation with international partners to support stability and development in Libya.
