Libya’s senior national volleyball team sustained a tough loss against their Egyptian counterparts, going down three sets to two (3-2), in their third match of the ongoing International Friendship Tournament in Algeria.

The match proved to be a strong and evenly contested affair, with set scores concluding as follows:

 * First Set: 25-11 for Egypt

 * Second Set: 25-23 for Libya

 * Third Set: 25-23 for Egypt

 * Fourth Set: 26-24 for Libya

 * Fifth and Deciding Set: 15-9 for the Egyptian team

With this result, the national team registered its third defeat in the tournament. Following an opening match loss to host Algeria by three sets to nil, they also fell to the Algerian Military team by three sets to two.

Despite the series of unfavourable results, the Libyan squad showed improved performance and an ability to compete with strong teams. This is considered a valuable technical gain, which is expected to help them correct their course and achieve better outcomes in future competitions.
