Riders from Akarem Stables maintained their impressive showing, honourably representing Libya amidst significant international attendance from the elite of show jumping at the Virtus CSI2 International Jumana Cup and Virtus Paddock Club in Dubai, UAE.
Saturday’s Highlights (November 8, 2025)
Ashraf Al-Ashal secured a notable achievement, earning third place in the One Round with Jump Off category (two horses per rider) aboard the stallion 085 JETSET. He cleared the first round in 78.16 seconds and the jump-off in 40.03 seconds, both fault-free (0 Faults).
In the 05 – One Round Against the Clock category (two horses per rider), Mohamed Miloud (Al-Jamai) clinched third place, sponsored by YAS Marina Circuit, riding Lola Fomia with an excellent time of 59.81 seconds without error.
Meanwhile, Shaheen Abuqrain finished twelfth in the same class, riding the horse Genius in 65.91 seconds, also clear.
Friday’s Accomplishments (November 7, 2025)
Akarem’s riders continued their distinguished presence on Friday:
- Mohamed Miloud (Al-Jamai) concluded his participation by securing eighth place with a faultless performance, recording 36.21 seconds in the first round and 31.31 seconds in the second (0 Faults).
- Shaheen Abuqrain placed twelfth, clocking 39.34 seconds in the first round and 33.83 seconds in the second, error-free.
- Ashraf Al-Ashal finished fifteenth in the (125cm) Speed Class (two horses per rider), posting a time of 68.22 seconds without incurring any faults.
