The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Dr. Salahuddin Al-Namroush, received the Director General of the Tunisian Defense Intelligence and Security Agency, Lieutenant General Habib bin Saleh Al-Dhaif, during a meeting at his office in Tripoli. The session was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Border Guard along with several senior officers from the General Staff.
The two sides explored avenues for strengthening joint cooperation between Libya and Tunisia, particularly within the intelligence sector. Discussions also covered the development and coordination of operations between the land forces of both nations, including the implementation of joint training programs and the execution of field exercises in border regions.
Both parties underscored the importance of intensifying the exchange of information and expertise, while bolstering military and security coordination. They concluded that such efforts are vital for increasing readiness levels, supporting regional stability, and safeguarding the shared interests of both countries.
