Kufra city witnessed the continuation of a humanitarian initiative launched last year, with the distribution of sacrificial meat from 100 cattle and 100 camels, provided by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
The operation was carried out under the direct supervision of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Saddam Haftar, while the Subul al-Salam Brigade monitored field proceedings to ensure that the aid reached eligible families across the city.
This gesture aimed to foster social solidarity and support the most vulnerable segments during Eid al-Adha. It sought to alleviate the plight of thousands of families of various nationalities residing in the area, particularly displaced Sudanese families facing critical humanitarian conditions.
