The Najm Al-Turath Association for Heritage Products in the Hajj Hajil area, affiliated with Murzuq municipality, held the first Heritage Exhibition at the stadium headquarters. The exhibition witnessed a wide presence from various parties, including Murzuq Municipal Council, the mayor of Hajj Hajil district, Murzuq Security Directorate, civil society institutions, in addition to a large gathering of residents of the areas affiliated with Murzuq municipality.
The exhibition was opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem, then a series of speeches that shed light on the importance of heritage. The exhibition also included an artistic display of paintings that embodied the depth of the city’s authentic heritage, in addition to displaying a collection of folk and heritage collectibles, traditional foods, and examples of sewing and embroidery.
This exhibition aims to introduce handicrafts and folk, in addition to highlighting the extent to which the people of the Hajj Hajil region adhere to the authentic heritage that they have carried since ancient times.
