The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced the voluntary humanitarian repatriation of 145 migrants from Sabha to Lagos, Nigeria. This operation, supported by the European Union, ensures safe and dignified return procedures for migrants.
The flight included specialized on-board medical care for all passengers throughout the journey, adhering to international humanitarian protocols and ensuring a secure environment for the returnees.
According to the IOM, this mission is part of its ongoing commitment to assist migrants wishing to return to their home countries voluntarily, providing them with the necessary administrative and logistical support for an organized departure from Libya.
