Colonel General Khaled Haftar, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, welcomed a delegation from the Union of Private Television in Africa (UTPA) at Marshal Khalifa Haftar Military City. The visiting group, headed by Dr. Aboubakar Mohamed Abdoullah, included the Union’s Secretary-General and delegates from 12 African states, with the Mandated Minister of African Affairs, Dr. Issa Abdul-Majid, also in attendance to witness the proceedings.
In recognition of his strategic efforts, the UTPA presented the Peace Prize to the Chief of the General Staff for his commitment to regional stability, specifically in the fight against terrorism and the management of illegal migration flows with humanitarian care. The delegation further commended the evident transformation within the armed forces, noting the high standards of professional training and the advanced equipment provided to military personnel.
