Discussions centered on advancing bilateral relations, specifically addressing illegal migration and neutralizing transnational organized crime and smuggling networks. Both parties emphasized the vital importance of counter-terrorism coordination and the implementation of specialized training programs to enhance the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces’ border guards and coast guard units.
Ambassador Orlando expressed his appreciation for the Commander-in-Chief’s efforts in maintaining national security and supporting the ongoing reconstruction and development initiatives. The session concluded with a mutual commitment to advancing the political process to ensure long-term stability across Libya.
