Commercial banks launch interest-free loans for Eid sacrifices

Commercial banks, including Jumhouria, Sahary, and the Libyan Islamic Bank, have announced interest-free “Qard Hasan” programs to assist customers in purchasing Eid sacrifices. Jumhouria Bank set its loan at 3,000 LYD, repayable over ten months at 300 LYD monthly. Sahary Bank offered 2,000 LYD with a 200 LYD monthly deduction, while the Libyan Islamic Bank provided 3,000 LYD. These initiatives aim to alleviate financial pressure on citizens during the festive season.
