The Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, has officially opened the first phase of the Julyana development project in Benghazi. This initial stage includes the completion of five modern bridges, executed as part of the wider infrastructure overhaul managed by the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, led by Engineer Belgasim Haftar.
The opening was attended by the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, Dr. Osama Hammad, alongside several members of the House of Representatives and senior military and security officials, with the participation of the General Scout and Girl Guide Association, highlighting a vital project aimed at improving traffic flow and connecting the city center with its main axes, while simultaneously transforming Julyana Lake into a modern urban waterfront to enhance the architectural landscape of Benghazi.
