The city of Zintan hosted an expanded meeting organized by members of the Social Coordinator Office of the General Command of the Armed Forces, attended by the social coordinator, notables, sheikhs, and representatives from western region towns and villages to discuss urgent national and service matters. The gathering culminated in a statement renewing full backing for the military institution and its efforts to maintain security and protect the country’s assets, while extending congratulations to the Libyan people and the General Command ahead of Eid al-Adha.
On the developmental and humanitarian fronts, participants urged the launch of reconstruction and maintenance projects in the mountain regions and the upgrading of basic infrastructure to improve living conditions. They also emphasized the need for urgent attention to the file of cancer patients, calling for the provision of necessary medications and medical care as a vital humanitarian duty, concluding that sustainable security stability and social partnership remain the fundamental pillars for executing development plans and preserving national unity.
