The Benghazi International Stadium hosted the Teacher and Student festival, held under the slogan “A Generation Builds the Nation,” in the presence of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, and the Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Bassem Mohammed al-Buaishi. The event was also attended by the Director-General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belgasim Haftar, alongside several members of parliament, foreign diplomatic delegations, and a broad gathering of educational staff and students.
In his speech to the crowd, the Commander-in-Chief expressed his pride in the present youth and student energy, noting that the secure environment and urban renaissance witnessed in Benghazi today are the fruits of the military’s sacrifices. He further urged young people to arm themselves with knowledge and value the role of educators as the solid foundation for state-building and fostering citizenship.
