The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Eng. Masoud Suleiman, conducted an inspection visit to the Ras Lanuf refinery to closely monitor its technical status and oversee the ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation efforts.
This field visit coincides with the refinery’s return to service, marking a step toward restoring activity at one of the Libyan oil sector’s most prominent industrial facilities following a period of cessation.
During the visit, the Corporation reaffirmed its commitment to backing maintenance and development projects at the refinery to boost production efficiency, thereby enhancing the stability of the energy sector and strengthening the national economy.
Furthermore, the NOC head praised the local expertise’s role in executing the refurbishment works, emphasizing that continuous efforts are underway to bring the refinery back to its full operational capacity in the coming period.
