The Director of the Royal Medical Services, Brigadier General Dr. Sahel al‑Hamouri, along with several officers from the directorate, received the Libyan delegation headed by the Secretary‑General of the General Command and Chairman of the Libyan–Jordanian Joint Military Cooperation Committee, Lieutenant General Khairi al‑Tamimi, at the headquarters of the Royal Medical Services in Amman.
The visit included an inspection tour of the medical services headquarters and the Royal Military Medical City, where the delegation reviewed training programs and adopted work mechanisms, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
Following the tour, Lieutenant General Khairi al‑Tamimi signed a medical cooperation agreement between the Libyan Armed Forces and the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, accompanied by members of the committee on the Libyan side, during his visit to the Royal Medical Services Directorate.
The agreement stipulates the implementation of medical programs and training courses during 2026, aimed at enhancing the skills of Libyan officers in various specialties. The initiative aligns with the vision and strategy of the Libyan General Command in the fields of development and training, and seeks to raise the level of military medical services.
