Sirte city received the first batch of sacrificial livestock to alleviate the living burden on families in need amid current high prices, sponsored by the General Command of the Armed Forces and under the direct supervision of Mayor Mukhtar al-Maadani and officials from the economic, agricultural police, and municipal guard sectors.
This delivery included 800 sacrificial animals provided at a reduced price of 1,250 dinars per head to remain affordable for citizens compared to prevailing market rates, while the mayor confirmed that arrangements are underway to receive an additional quantity soon, praising this solidarity step ahead of Eid al-Adha.
