Major General Salah Hwaidi, Director of the Greater Benghazi Security Directorate, has issued a decree waiving all administrative penalties and releasing suspended salaries for all directorate personnel. The decision coincides with the 12th anniversary of Karama Revolution and the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
The initiative follows a formal communication from General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, regarding the referral of a draft salary law for Ministry of Interior personnel. The move is viewed as a strategic administrative and humanitarian step to resolve the workforce grievances in the security apparatus.
According to the official circular, the directive mandates the restoration of withheld pay effective from the date of reinstatement, while the suspension of administrative penalties will remain in place until the resumption of official duties following the Eid holiday.
